At the recent AGM, Tori Moreno-Cruse (BLC) was
elected as the new Chairperson and Liz Pryor (Bureau Veritas) elelcted as
Vice-Chairperson. Paul Jones (HSTTS) took over as Treasurer. Alan Ross (HSTTS)
remains as Secretary.
UKTLF successfully achieves its aim of having the
Furniture & Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988 amended in respect
of the flame retardent polyester fabric used for testing filling materials.
This is the culmination of four years of lobbying government.
UKTLF invited to participate in the BIS Special
Advisory Group looking at the future of the Furniture & Furnishing
(Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988.
